Server logs
When a page is requested, our web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, referring page, and browser and operating system. This serves the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are not combined with other data and are deleted after a short time.
The server is located in a data centre of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, with which a data processing agreement is in place.
Contact by email or phone
If you write to us or call us, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed for this purpose and no retention obligations apply.
Use of AI
We analyse our business correspondence (emails with attachments) internally with AI, for example to assign matters, check invoices and monitor deadlines. This may involve processing the name, business contact details and data on matters and contracts of our contacts (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in efficient administration).
For this we use local AI models on our own hardware in Germany and Claude by Anthropic (Anthropic Ireland, Limited) as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR). With Claude, processing may also take place in the USA, safeguarded by EU standard contractual clauses; the content is not used to train AI models.
You can object to this processing on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR): durchatmen@meiluft.de.
Encryption
The website is delivered exclusively in encrypted form via HTTPS.
